INJURIES SHOULDN’T KEEP YOU FROM PLAYING GOLF!

there are two things you can do with your head down...play golf and pray

But....what if you have neck issues? Or back pain, shoulder pain, thoracic immobility or your hip won't rotate?

Everyone that plays golf is so fixated on the "KEEP YOUR HEAD DOWN" position. It is said ad nauseam whenever you make a bad shot but the head never works independent of the body and the body doesn't work independent of the head. If you have limited neck mobility, it might be hard to keep your head in one position as your body (hip, pelvis, trunk, shoulder, neck) rotates in the backswing and then in the opposite rotated position in the through swing. Your body is good at cheating movements and will always find a way to give you what you want just not in an efficient way.

There are numerous ways our body will compensate for stability or mobility deficits and by going to the driving range to reinforce poor biomechanical habits will only lead to one thing: INJURY!

It is with so much pride to have completed and passed the TPI (Titleist Pro Institute) Level 1 certification. As a Physical Therapist (who plays golf), this course gave me the ability to understand the Body Swing Connection™ by being able to identify any physical limitations that may be causing a player's swing inefficiencies by utilizing TPI's basic 16 physical screens, 12 major swing characteristics and multiple exercise protocols utilizing over 65 exercises to correct imbalances.

I am not a golf pro and will not teach you how to play golf. I am a medical practitioner that can assess WHY your swing is breaking down or why you are getting injured or why you have no power. I will be working WITH pros in a TEAM approach so you can play with efficiency.

Telehealth and in office sessions will soon be available. FILL OUT THE FORM BELOW for details!
